Below you'll find some things that I've worked on, from my years of work with BYU's Rocketry team to something to mess around with for a minute. My work these days is going into my coding projects, some of which you can check out on my Github (link in the footer), but most of them are with Dr. Hari Sundar at the School of Computing at the University of Utah..
Dual deployment rocket with an apogee at rougly 1100m and a max velocity of 327m/s recorded with a StratoLoggerCF Altimeter propelled by an Aerotech I500T motor.
Cancelled due to University activities and facilities closing due to the novel Covid-19 pandemic. Designs and plans for a L2 certification with a VAS of airbrakes
Member of the GNC team competing in July 2021. GNC goals of data collection, airbrake deployment for a target apogee of 10,000 ft., and of course a safe landing
Group project I ended up having to complete solo. Iterative testing of Climate Classifying models
GeoGuessr AI ProjectImplemented a recurrent convolutional neural network similar to this paper to play the game of GeoGeussr
Code available for both projects upon request.
Payload Team lead, Results here. Implemented a recurrent neural network that did its best at reducing sloshing forces of small containers of liquid during flight of the rocket. Received an on-the-spot award for the SDL Payload Challenge. Maverick was BYU's entry at Spaceport America Cup 2022.
GraphBuilder - a fun tool I made for a class
